Small Business Website Design

Cruthers Enterprises - Greg CruthersWordPress

My name is Greg Cruthers and I’m the founder of Cruthers Enterprises. I’m here to help you with your small business website design. I would like to learn about your business and discuss the goals you have for your website. Whether you need a simple informational website or a more robust online presence with ecommerce capabilities, we are happy to assist you in achieving your small business goals.

I use WordPress to create small business websites. It’s the most popular content management system today, has a great degree of technical support, and is very customizable. What does this mean for you? It is widely used and expected to be around long-term, which means it will continue to be updated, functionally expanded, and secured. There will also be the continued development of third party plug-ins and themes, which enhance website functionality and end-user experience.

Ecommerce Solutions

I will help determine your best Ecommerce solution and help you sell your products and services online. For businesses that only need to sell a handful of items, a couple of buttons from a service like Pay Pal should do. It’s quick and easy to create “Add to Cart” and “Buy Now” buttons, which are easily embedded into your website to sell each product or service.

Businesses with large amounts of products and services require a different solution – a Shopping Cart System. I use WooCommerce, a plug-in that is installed into your WordPress website. It’s a customizable system with numerous 3rd party plug-ins available to extend its functionality. It provides secure payment processing, many options for shipping and taxation, and mobile apps to help you manage your store from anywhere. As an alternative, we also offer you assistance in setting up a Shopify storefront.

SEO & Marketing

Every website I create is initially optimized for search engines. With the major search engines changing their algorithms frequently, keeping a website SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly can be challenging. Time must be invested to incorporate these changes and best practices into websites. Unlike new or updated content, customers don’t see the webmaster’s SEO work.

Results are what matters for clients and can be measured in various ways, such as performing specific searches with each search engine. Depending upon the type of business or organization, the amount of updates to the website’s SEO may differ. I will discuss all of this with you in our call(s) prior to contracting me.
